Kubotek Partners with Luxion to Integrate KeyShot for Photographic Image Creation 

Marlborough, Mass., -  Kubotek USA announces that Luxion’s rendering application, KeyShot™ can now be used directly from its KeyCreator 3D direct modeling software. This integration is made possible by a partnership between the two companies; Kubotek will also be able to distribute KeyShot within the Americas. The agreement will further enhance the speed and flexibility for designers and engineers to not only create 3D models with KeyCreator, but to then use those models to create photographic images. Thanks to KeyShot, design data can be transferred quickly with the simple push of a button, and within minutes photographic images are ready for use in design, engineering, design review and marketing.

Kubotek Validation Tool Version 9 Offers Significantly Improved Performance for Validating CAD Models and Managing Change

Marlborough, Mass., – Kubotek USA has officially released Validation Tool™ Version 9. Kubotek’s Validation Tool is a 3D model validation software that uses unique mathematical algorithms to compare CAD files significantly faster and more precisely than other similar comparison software on the market. Validation Tool 9.0 adds multiple enhancements to its robust performance features, including file format and annotation readers, assembly file comparison and management and added reporting capabilities. In addition, brand new functionality allows for the automated creation of comprehensive change order reports in Microsoft® PowerPoint® format.

Kubotek USA, working with Tech Soft 3D, an Adobe Systems Incorporated Solution Partner, has signed an agreement to advance and strengthen its technology suite through close integration with Adobe® Acrobat® 9 Pro Extended software. Tech Soft 3D provides the Adobe technology on an OEM basis, and through their consulting services, will ensure a successful implementation of the technology within Kubotek’s MBD solutions. The agreement will provide powerful capabilities to manufacturers as they move away from 2D drawings and allow further investment in the use of MBD and PMI.
